Hand stretch film – product description:

Stretch film for manual packaging is used for:

  • packaging by wrapping pallets with goods
  • individual packaging

Packaging can be carried out both directly by a person manually, and with the help of special devices – dispensers for stretch film, which allow you to hold a roll with a film and adjust the tension during the cargo wrapping.

Manual stretch film has a “prestretch” (amount of prestretch) in the range of 70-150%. After stretching, the stretch film tries to restore its dimensions – adjacent layers of the film firmly stick to each other: the product is securely fastened by the film.

Purpose

It is used to preserve the integrity of the cargo during transportation, as well as to protect against environmental influences in areas where the use of automatic/semi-automatic pallet wrappers is impractical:

  • in production
  • in trade
  • during repair and construction works
  • when moving
  • at the car repair shops

Purpose of manual stretch film depending on thickness:

  • 8, 10, 12, 15, 17 μm – for fixing light and medium weight loads
  • 20 μm – for fixing heavy objects and loads with sharp corners
  • 23, 35 μm – for fixing extra-heavy loads (bricks, paving tiles, foam concrete blocks)

Manual stretch film produced by Terra Pack:

  • resistant to mechanical influences
  • convenient for group packing on pallets, stably fixes a group of objects (boxes, boxes, bags, construction materials, etc.), improving the conditions of transportation and storage of goods

Technical stretch film is used in everyday life for:

  • wrapping fragile objects during transportation (furniture, mirrors, etc.)
  • fast and temporary fastening of various objects to each other (instead of using twine or tape)

For household and business purposes, stretch film in mini-rolls – width: 100, 250 mm – is widely used for fastening objects.

Usage conditions:

  • the shelf  life is 2 years
  • the optimal storage temperature for jumbo rolls of stretch film: from +5C to +35C, at a relative humidity of 40% to 80%
  • stretch film should be stored in dry, clean, closed rooms that do not have extraneous odors, protected from direct sunlight and at a distance of at least 1 m from heating devices. When used in a different temperature range, the tensile and tear resistance parameters may be changed
