Packaging tape – purpose

Packaging tape is used for packaging, transportation and storage:

  • In industry: food, furniture, paper, chemical, cosmetic, printing products, etc.
  • In everyday life: indispensable when moving, transporting and storing things

Adhesive tape on an acrylic adhesive base:

  • reliably glues/tightly joins cardboard, plastic, leather and other surfaces of general purpose objects
  • protects various surfaces from damage
  • serves as an identifier of different product batches (when using colored tape)

Acrylic packing tape is divided into:

  • manual – for manual packaging or using a packaging dispenser (length from 50 to 300m)
  • machine: 990 m long (450 m) – for automatic and semi-automatic lines

Manual packaging tape is the most common one. It is used for packaging corrugated cardboard boxes and other types of packaging products.

Machine tape is used in industrial enterprises, for automatic and semi-automatic packaging lines. The maximum coil length is 990m.

Usage conditions:

  • Packaging tape with an acrylic adhesive base is used in the temperature range from 0 °C to +25 °C
  • The shelf life of the tape is 5 years

Important:

Quantity in the package (PVC splice): 45, 48 mm wide – 6 pcs.; 66, 72 mm wide – 4 pcs.

We recommend sticking tape using a special packaging tool (tape dispenser) in order to:

  • reduce the tape usage
  • reduce the time of packing a product unit
