Machine stretch film for industrial packaging – product description

Used at large enterprises for wrapping pallets using semi-automatic and automatic packaging machines (film wrapping machine) as transport packaging.

The machine method of packaging is more economical, as there is the possibility of pre-stretching the film on these machines, which reduces costs. The machine stretch film has a prestretch (amount of prestretch) in the range of  150-300%.

After stretching, the stretch film tries to restore its dimensions – adjacent layers of the film firmly stick to each other: the product is securely fastened by the film.

Purpose

It is used for palletizing by palletizing machines:

  • semi-automatic
  • automatic

 Machine stretch film produced by Terra Pack:

  • resistant to punctures and crushing compared to other film materials
  • characterized by increased adhesion (stickiness of layers to each other)
  • reliably fixes a group of objects (boxes, cases, bags, building materials, etc.) during group packing on pallets by improving the conditions of transportation and storage of goods
  • saves time for product packaging
  • reduces the cost of packaging material compared to manual packaging film due to prestretch adjustment, the film is pulled back to its previous state after wrapping the pallet with products

Machine stretch film in mini-rolls (width 100, 250 mm) is specially designed for horizontal packaging machines, which are used to pack linear products (plinths, beams, pipes, plastic and metal profiles), as well as doors, plastic windows, finished heat engineering products (radiators, convectors, boilers), rolled materials (textiles, linoleum, roofing material, films), etc.

Usage conditions:

  • the shelf  life is 2 years
  • the optimal storage temperature for jumbo rolls of stretch film: from +5C to +35C, at a relative humidity of 40% to 80%
  • machine stretch film should be stored in dry, clean, closed rooms that do not have extraneous odors, protected from direct sunlight and at a distance of at least 1 m from heating devices. When used in a different temperature range, the tensile and tear resistance parameters may be changed
